Top 5 Travel and Local Apps Performance in Serbia Q2 2023

In the second quarter of 2023, the top five Travel and Local apps in Serbia experienced a range of performance dynamics in terms of downloads and user engagement. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a significant increase in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter. Starting at around 3K downloads per week in late March, the app's downloads peaked at approximately 20.9K in the week of June 19, before slightly decreasing to 18.3K by the end of June.

Google Earth had relatively stable download numbers throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 1.3K and 2K, with the highest number recorded at 2.1K in mid-April.

GPS Navigation: Live Earth Map experienced a varied download trend. Weekly downloads ranged from about 1K to nearly 1.9K. The app saw its highest download numbers in late April and a notable dip to 1K in early June, followed by a rebound to 1.6K by the end of the month.

VOZZi - Car & Travel demonstrated a steady upward trend in downloads. Starting with around 1K weekly downloads at the end of March, the app’s downloads grew consistently, reaching a peak of approximately 3.4K in the final week of June.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus maintained a stable download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads hovered around the 1.7K to 2.3K range, with the highest downloads recorded in early April at 2.3K.
